Working at Farm Dairy

HR Officer

Would you like to join our HR team as an HR Officer?

Do you want to make an impact in a fast-growing organization?

Every day, we’re committed to turning fresh milk and innovative dairy products—including plantbased alternatives—into something special. As a fast-growing organization with a dynamic work environment, we’re looking for a proactive HR Officer who can take the load off our team, ensure our operational HR processes run smoothly, and further optimize them. Are you ready to make an impact? Then read on!

What will you do?

In this challenging role, you will be responsible for the timely, accurate, and efficient execution of our operational HR processes. Together with the HR Business Partner and HR Manager, you’ll provide professional HR services and support managers and employees with a wide range of HR-related questions. Whether it involves personnel administration, contracts and changes, Afas, new hires and onboarding, or routine HR matters (not sure how else to put it), you’ll make sure everything gets taken care of. In addition, you’ll monitor progress and identify and initiate improvements to continuously optimize our HR processes.

Your responsibilities:
  • Coordinating and providing administrative support for employee onboarding and offboarding, including recruitment and selection, contracts, and onboarding.
  • Answering general HR questions and supporting managers and employees with operational HR issues.
  • Managing and keeping personnel records and HR workflows up to date in Afas, including contracts, personnel changes, and personnel files.
  • Monitoring the progress of HR processes and identifying and initiating process improvements.

What do you bring to the table?
  • We are looking for an HR professional with a proactive attitude and a hands-on approach.
  • You have completed a vocational (MBO) or higher vocational (HBO) degree in HRM, Business Administration, or a related field, supplemented by relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • You work with precision, have strong communication skills, and feel at home in a dynamic organization.
  • You take ownership, identify areas that need attention, and actively contribute ideas on how to make HR processes smarter and more efficient.

In addition, you possess:

  • Experience with personnel administration, contracts, personnel changes, and knowledge of labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and HR processes.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English.
  • An independent, service-oriented, and solution-focused approach.
  • Experience with Afas is a plus

What do we offer you?

At Farm Dairy, you can count on a challenging role within a casual and ambitious organization. We offer:

  • A competitive salary in accordance with the Dairy Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Flexible work hours: 36 hours per week; 32 hours negotiable.
  • A year-end bonus of 5%.
  • An active staff association for fun events and outings.
