Together with our customers and suppliers, we are constantly looking at how we can make our packaging more sustainable. For our 2L HDPE cans, for example, we use stretch sleeves or cold-washable labels so that they are optimally recyclable (in accordance with KIDV Recyclecheck). We produce these cans ourselves so that unnecessary transport is avoided.
We source our dairy packs from leading suppliers such as Elopak and TetraPak who are continuously working to reduce their footprint by offering various more sustainable options.
All our milk comes from Dutch soil and is supplied by farmers who give their cows extra attention; not just grazing, but also extra animal welfare and attention to the environment and biodiversity. We are the first in the Netherlands to include in all our daily fresh dairy only milk streams with additional sustainability certifications such as 'On the way to PlanetProof' (GLN 8712423008663) and 'Better for Nature & Farmer'.
At Farm Dairy, we recognize the growing importance of plant-based dairy products. We are actively developing plant-based alternatives to meet today's demand for sustainable and ethical food choices. These efforts are an essential part of our sustainability vision. We strive to source raw materials grown as locally as possible.
No more than logical, then, that we are one of the signatories of the Bean Deal.
Farm Dairy has committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), which assists companies in setting science-based targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This initiative, aimed at achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement, supports companies in formulating concrete actions to significantly reduce global warming.

Together with our logistics partners St vd Brink and Farm Trans, we work continuously onCO2 reduction. For example, through optimal route planning. In our new cold store, which is completely energy-neutral thanks to solar panels, we work with WMS to make all processes as efficient as possible.
