All-Around Field Service Technician

At Farm Dairy, we process fresh milk every day into high-quality dairy products such as whole, reduced-fat, and skim milk, custard, and yogurt. In addition, we are actively working on the development of various plantbased . With a dedicated team of over 200 employees, who are on standby day and night, we stock the refrigerators across the Netherlands and play an essential role in people’s daily lives.

For more than 25 years, we have led the way in the production of daily fresh dairy products. By 2023, we will have expanded our range to include ambient dairy and plantbased dairy alternatives. Every product we make carries labels such as On the way to PlanetProof and Beter voor Natuur & Boer, reflecting our mission for sustainability and quality.

What will you be doing?
As an All-Around Maintenance Technician, you will troubleshoot issues with our modern machinery and perform preventive and corrective maintenance. You will actively contribute to making our systems more sustainable and improving them, and you will prevent downtime by maintaining a visible presence on the shop floor. You will work closely with our operators, team leaders, and maintenance planners.

Your responsibilities as an All-Around Field Service Technician:

• You troubleshoot malfunctions in both mechanical and electrical systems in the fresh and UHT departments.
• You analyze the causes of malfunctions and implement structural solutions to prevent them from recurring.
• You will propose and implement improvements to equipment to make processes more efficient, sustainable, and reliable.
• In addition to troubleshooting, you will perform maintenance tasks when the situation allows.
• You will actively contribute to improvement projects aimed at continuously optimizing production and maintenance processes.

What are you bringing?

• A technical degree at the MBO 4 level in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Work experience (at least 3 years) in a similar position, preferably gained in a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with experience in troubleshooting and maintenance.
• You have a good command of spoken and written Dutch and English, as well as a reasonable knowledge of German.
• Knowledge of the Ultimo CMMS system is a plus.
• Knowledge of HACCP, IFS, and occupational health and safety regulations is a plus.
• Meticulous, goal-oriented, and a strong communicator.
