To continue this mission, we are looking for a Production Manager Filling & Packaging to work with about 160 colleagues in our modern factory in Lelystad.

As Production Manager Filling & Packaging, you will play a critical role in our day-to-day operations within the Filling & Packaging department. You will actively lead the growth and innovation of our company by sharing your expertise and leading operational and tactical initiatives. Job Description:
This position offers you the chance to make a real impact on improving and running our daily production, now and in the future. You will be responsible for the filling and packaging department and for optimizing our processes. You will solve bottlenecks and contribute to the coordination, supervision and implementation of improvement projects.
Core tasks:
Your duties consist of initiating and realizing various projects within the department in order to improve quality and productivity. You do this while safety always remains your main priority! You perform complaint analysis, set targets and think about how we will achieve them as a department.
In addition, you lead 5 team leaders who manage the daily operations and about 85 indirect reports. Your leadership is situational, inspiring, coaching and you are ready for innovation. Planning and organizing are your nature. You develop and communicate a clear vision, focused on our organizational direction. Decisiveness is second nature, with the courage to break new ground. Result orientation flows through your veins, focused on the successful implementation of vegetable and long-life products. With continuous focus on Quality Awareness and innovative quality standards. Willingness to change and enthusiasm for the new challenges posed by expansion.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leadership and coaching within a manufacturing environment;
- HBO working and thinking level towards Food Technology or technical business administration;
- Knowledge and experience with change processes and implementation of improvement programs;
- Fluency in both Dutch and English;
- Experience working with improvement teams and performing production management;
- Familiarity with applicable regulations and standards (domestic, HACCP, IFS, GMP and occupational health and safety);
