Every day at Farm Dairy, we process fresh milk into high-quality dairy products such as whole, semi-skimmed and skimmed milk, custard and yogurt. We are also working hard to develop various plantbased alternatives. With a dedicated team of over 200 employees, ready day and night, we fill the refrigerators of the Netherlands and play an essential role in people's daily lives.

For more than 25 years, we have led the way in the production of daily fresh dairy products. By 2023, we will have expanded our range to include non-perishable dairy and plantbased dairy alternatives. Every product we make carries labels such as On the way to PlanetProof and Better for Nature & Farmer, reflecting our mission for sustainability and quality.

What will you do?

The QAS manager is responsible for and further develops the quality and safety policy (Quality & Safety) within Farm Dairy, in line with the requirements and guidelines of certified bodies and developments within Farm Dairy. In view of the company's growth, this is a challenging and exciting position, in which the frameworks are set to ensure Farm Dairy's priorities: safety and quality.

As QAS manager, you will be part of the quality and technology team. Your responsibilities will include co-responsibility for overall safety within Farm Dairy, planning and supervising various audits and process and recipe management.

Who are we looking for?

  • Manage, maintain and further develop the existing quality system.
  • Develop and coordinate a sustainability policy within Farm Dairy
  • Provide direction through multi-year plans for further expansion of the quality management system in accordance with GFSI standards including IFS, GMP, hygiene, safety guidelines (ISO 45001).
  • Chairing the HSE and HACCP team.
  • Keeping track of relevant legislation and early identification of changes relevant to Farm Dairy and its customers.
  • Responsible for accuracy of product specifications as well as checking information provided to customers regarding products, processes, packaging and other QAS issues
  • Ensuring that Farm Dairy maintains its quality and other certifications (IFS, COKZ, PlanetProof, etc)
  • Advising the MT on QAS policies and trends/developments in relevant areas.

Who are you?

  • You are good at making problem analyses;
  • You are self-directed;
  • You have good communication skills;
  • You can plan and organize well;
  • You are assertive and decisive.

In addition:

  • Have a college or university degree, preferably focused on agriculture/daily dairy;
  • Proficient in the Dutch, German and English languages;
  • Do you have knowledge of specific dairy products or would like to learn about them
  • Knowledge of design and control of assurance and care systems. Knowledge of quality standards.
  • At least 6 years of experience in the food industry.
