At Farm Dairy, we are committed to quality, innovation, and sustainability every day. From fresh milk, creamy yogurt, and delicious custard to innovative plantbased , we deliver products not only taste good but are also good for you. For more than 25 years, we have been setting trends in the production of fresh dairy products. Since 2025, we have expanded our range to include non-perishable and plantbased . Our goal is to stimulate the protein transition and make our portfolio so sustainable that we will achieve the SBTi targets.
We do this with a dedicated team of more than 220 colleagues who are on standby day and night. This ensures that refrigerators in the Netherlands remain stocked and that we make a valuable contribution to the healthy and tasty nutrition of millions of consumers. After all, our products in every supermarket in the Netherlands.
All dairy products leaving our factory carry quality marks such as On the way to PlanetProof and Better for Nature & Farmers. This is proof of our commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability.
What is your mission?
As a Product Developer, you are the beating heart of all innovation. You translate trends, customer requests, and market insights into distinctive dairy products, hybrid crossovers, and 100% plantbased products. You work closely with Sales, Production, and our customers. From the initial idea and recipe, through our pilot plant, to upscaling in the factory, you lead the entire process.

An innovator. A trendsetter. A doer with a passion for healthy food and technology. You see opportunities and dare to test new ideas—literally. With your curiosity, analytical skills, and knowledge, you are the driving force behind successful product launches on store shelves.
What will you do?
- Developing new, high-quality products surprise consumers.
- Translating trends and customer insights into innovative product concepts.
- Translating market research into experiments with raw materials, recipes, and techniques.
- Producing small test batches for panels, customers, and market trials.
- Supervising the upscaling from pilot plant to production – you make sure everything runs smoothly.
- Organize trial sessions with customers and internal teams.
- Maintain contact with suppliers and evaluate new ingredients.
- Independently lead projects and manage the innovation calendar.
What are you bringing?
- A university or college degree in food technology, food innovation, or similar.
- From 5 years of experience in product development (proteins, recipe development, pilot plant work, and upscaling).
- Excellent sensory perception: you taste what others miss.
- Knowledge of HACCP, IFS, and GMP.
- Knowledge of the technology; process-based dairy processing and packaging.
- You have strong communication skills (Dutch and English, preferably also German), are curious, creative, and enjoy hands-on work.
- You can easily keep track of multiple projects and feel at home in a dynamic environment.
