In September, the foundation Together Against Food Waste the sixth edition of the Wastefree Week. During this week, consumers are motivated to waste as little food as possible.
Zuivelpak, an initiative of the dairy industry, supermarkets and beverage carton manufacturers, is doing its part to reduce food waste with several useful tips and ideas. By looking at the THT date, smelling and tasting whether a carton of milk or yogurt is still good, you can prevent food waste. You can also prevent waste by folding yogurt and custard packets properly. This way you can easily get an extra portion out of the pack. Moreover, an empty pack is better and easier to recycle.
