The role
As Purchasing Manager, you are responsible for developing and implementing a purchasing strategy that aligns with our business objectives and our growth phase.
You guarantee quality and continuity, professionalize processes, and ensure optimal contractual agreements with suppliers.
You switch effortlessly between operational challenges and strategic choices. You think ahead, analyze market developments, and know how to turn opportunities into concrete improvements.
With your experience in corporate environments, you understand exactly how to weigh interests, organize processes efficiently, and select suppliers that meet high quality standards and our growth ambitions.
You are a good conversationalist at all levels and know how to translate commercial opportunities into direct value for the organization.
Your responsibilities
Developing, implementing, and continuously improving the procurement strategy.
Independently executing the entire purchasing process: from selection and negotiation to contract management.
Identifying savings and optimization opportunities based on data, market trends, and risk analyses.
Building sustainable, reliable supplier relationships and actively managing performance.
Creating an efficient, transparent, and future-proof supply chain.
Advising management and internal stakeholders on opportunities, developments, and strategic choices
Who are you?
- An experienced purchasing professional who can operate independently and strategically, with experience in or affinity for corporate environments.
- Someone who operates independently and adds value at both the strategic and operational levels.
- Strong in negotiation, analysis, and process optimization.
- Commercially astute, communicatively persuasive, and professional in stakeholder management.
- You communicate clearly and professionally in three languages (NL/EN/DE), which is essential within our international supplier networks.
- Someone who thrives in a growing organization where you are given plenty of room for initiative.
- University/HBO working and thinking level
