At Farm Dairy, we process fresh milk daily into high-quality dairy products such as whole, semi-skimmed and skimmed milk, custard and yogurt. We also produce sustainably certified non-perishable dairy (as 1 of the first in the Netherlands) and preparation of various plantbased dairy alternatives. With a dedicated team of more than 200 employees, ready day and night, we make sure the refrigerators in the Netherlands stay filled and contribute to people's daily lives.
For more than 25 years, we have led the way in the production of daily fresh dairy products. Since 2023, we have further expanded our range to include non-perishable dairy and plantbased alternatives, responding to changing consumer demands, the protein transition and making our portfolio more sustainable. Every product that leaves our factory carries labels such as On the way to PlanetProof and Better for Nature & Farmer, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and quality.

What will you do?
As Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring our sustainability policy. You translate strategic goals into concrete actions and ensure that we comply with laws and regulations, certification requirements, and sustainability goals. For Farm Dairy specifically and certainly also within the entire chain.
You work closely with various departments, suppliers and customers and advise the management team on ESG-related developments and opportunities. In addition, you will be the first point of contact for sustainability issues, both internally and externally.
- Develop and implement a strategic sustainability policy, in line with Farm Dairy goals and (inter)national guidelines such as ISO 14001, CSRD and SBTi.
- Coordinate and monitor ESG reporting and sustainability initiatives.
- Identify and translate new laws and regulations into policy and practical applications within the organization.
- Coordinate with supply chain partners on sustainability requirements and improvements in the supply chain.
- Encourage sustainability within the organization by creating support and increasing internal awareness.
- Set up and drive innovative projects aimed at making production processes more sustainable.
- Function as environmental coordinator and oversee environmental care and compliance with environmental regulations.
Who are you?
- Education: HBO/WO in environmental science, business administration (with specialization in sustainability) or similar field.
- Experience: Preferably at least 3 years of relevant work experience in sustainability, environmental or ESG topics.
- Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of sustainability standards and systems such as ISO 14001, SBTi and Ecovadis.
Furthermore, you possess:
- Strategic and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch, English and German (at least B2+ level).
- Project management skills and ability to motivate teams.
- Accurate and highly numerate.
- Decisive, proactive and innovative mindset.
